What is The Salik Project UK?

We are a grassroots Community Interest Company based in Rochdale supporting South Asian individuals in recovery from addiction and their families. We are not a treatment provider — we work alongside existing services.

Are you a charity?

No. We are a Community Interest Company (CIC No. 16685087), not a registered charity.

Do you provide counselling or treatment?

No. We signpost and refer individuals and families to appropriate local services. We are not a clinical service.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. Any information you share with us is treated with strict confidentiality in line with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.

Who funds you?

We are currently funded by Action Together through the Rochdale Communities Fund Drug and Alcohol Diversity Programme.
