The Salik Project UK — Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Education, connection and open conversation.
What's On
Join us at one of our community events. All sessions are free, open to South Asian individuals and families in Greater Manchester, and held in a safe, non-judgmental space.
The Salik Project UK will have a stall at the Rochdale Science Extravaganza 2026. Come and find us at Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre for information, resources and a conversation about addiction awareness in our communities.
We will also be announcing the winner of our Addiction Awareness Poster Competition — designed to raise awareness around nitrous oxide and cannabis misuse among young people.
Poster Competition — Last Chance to Enter
There is still time to enter! The deadline is 15 June 2026. Create a powerful school poster highlighting the real risks of nitrous oxide or cannabis misuse. Prizes up for grabs:
Winning posters will be printed and distributed to schools, mosques and community centres across Rochdale.
A safe, open session for South Asian community members to discuss addiction, recovery and available support. Refreshments provided. All are welcome — no referral needed.
